Price list
Here you’ll find all the prices for courses and rental. For tailor-made packages or information, write to us or call us: we’ll get back to you right away.
Please note: weather and sea conditions are essential for the courses to run properly (the first outings need calm sea and light wind, 3–10 knots). If the instructor considers it appropriate, the lesson is postponed to the first suitable day.
BEGINNER GROUP COURSE
Courses are held in groups, and the instructor splits students according to the number of lessons they’ve already done, so everyone can learn safely. Lessons are in the morning and we recommend 2-hour sessions, to spend more time on the water (and have more fun!). Use of the equipment, including harnesses, wetsuits and life jackets, is included in the price.

Why choose a sailing course at PKS?
- It’s the most complete discipline for going out to sea: what you learn sailing applies to every wind and water activity
- It’s educational, fun and suitable for all ages
- You’ll find out that sailing boats aren’t necessarily slow
- You learn to respect and understand the sea and the wind
- When you’re at the helm, you decide where to go, wind and sea permitting
- It’s the foundation for racing, cruising on a yacht and getting your boating licence
- You have access to the knowledge of experienced, qualified instructors, at one of the best sailing spots in the Tuscan Maremma
Five things to know before starting the PKS Maremma sailing courses:
- Starting with dinghies, you’ll better understand how sailing works: small boats are more sensitive to the wind, to your movements and to every tiny adjustment, so you notice your mistakes straight away. It may take a while to become the new Jack Sparrow, but the beginner course will turn you into a real sea dog.
- It’s very important to get comfortable with the water and the equipment right from the start: that’s why practice is always at the heart of our courses.
- At sea, dealing with wind and waves, safety should never be taken lightly. Sailing solo is essential to improve, but only once the basics are clear. And always remember to tell someone when you go out to sea.
- The winning trait of a good sailor? Multitasking! With a small crew you handle several things at once: go out with your instructor as often as possible and try every role, so you get used to seeing the big picture.
- The advanced course is also perfect for anyone who wants to go deeper into certain aspects of sailing and revise for the practical exam for the sailing licence.
