For over 10 years, Pks has been collaborating with IKO to offer all people who dream of being able to work in the world of kitesurfing the possibility of being able to change their lives, making their dreams come true.
We trained over 300 instructors over the years, by organizing at least 4 annual courses, two in Italy and two in Tenerife.
Not many kite schools can boast such an experience. Therefore, if your dream is to turn your passion for the kite into your job, this is the right place for you.

What can an I.K.O instructor course offer you?
I.K.O. certifies Instructors since 2001 and is present in 39 countries around the world. It offers a reliable and professional training program and is the only internationally recognized certification.
Thanks to the IKO instructor course, you will get qualified as 1st level I.K.O. Instructor: this will allow you to work in a kitesurf school or as an independent instructor anywhere in the world.

What kind of license will you get?
You will obtain the certification of Assistant Instructor I.K.O. (course: A.I.T.C.) and then the international license as I.K.O. Instructor– 1st level (course I.T.C. + Medic First Aid).
As for Italy, as a result of the recent IKO-OPES agreementall participants in the IKO L1 Instructor course will also be able to apply for the National Kitesurfing Instructor Diploma OPES – Sports Promotion Body recognized by CONI with consequent registration in the Sailing Istructor Register Section, discipline DV005 – Kiteboardingaccording to the requirements of the National System of Sports Qualifications SNaQ..

What are the prerequisites to participate in the I.K.O. course?
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a certified IKO Kiteboarder Level 3 (jump and surfride to side)
- Perform every 3N skills in every wind conditions (10-30 knots)
- Have a valid Instructor Assistant certificate (A.T.C.)
- Have a valid MFA First Aid or CPR certificate or have committed to obtain it during the next I.T.C. course
- Pass every online pre-ITC tests
- Know how to drive a motorboat (less than 40 HP)
- Be able to read and write in the language of the course
- Have your own equipment available: kite, board, harness, helmet, life jacket and impact jacket.
- Sign the release form.

To guarantee a high quality standard, I.K.O. requires that the number of participants cannot exceed 8, for this reason the places are very limited.
