EQUIPMENT INCLUDED

We give you everything you need to get out on the water: kite, bar, board, harness, wetsuit, helmet, vest… You just bring the drive to get out there and learn, we’ll take care of the rest.

SUPPORT BOAT

Taking a lesson with the support boat is a whole different story. Whatever the problem, we’re right there with you. And if you drift off course, we’ll come and pick you up. Handy, right?

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE COURSES?

BEGINNER COURSE

We’ll walk you through the theory basics of wind and how windsurfing works on land, then head straight out to sea. Unlike kite (and to some extent wing too), the great thing about windsurf is that you jump straight into practice, learning to feel the wind in your hands, control the board, and sail.

ADVANCED COURSE

Perfect if you want to learn to plane or improve your maneuvers.

The advanced course is designed to raise the bar on your level, with dedicated lessons where the instructor follows you, films your mistakes and progress, which you’ll then review together on land. This way, your learning curve goes through the roof. And so will you!

GROUP COURSE

1 istruttore, massimo 4 allievi.

Choose the group you like best: bring along your partner, friends, kids, parents, or even your mother-in-law. What matters is that you’re united by one thing: the desire to have fun.

Six things to know before starting a PKS Maremma windsurfing course:

Always check that there is a launch channel to get in and out of the water. It is the only facility that allows you to leave and return to the shore independently and without having to push your board for 200 meters before you can pull up the sail.
Windsurfing today is very easy to learn. There are boards of various sizes and adapted to the “size” of each student, equipment for every age, including small children, with sails as small as 0.8 square meters, one-eighth of an adult sail 😉
Windsurfing is a discipline that will always allow you to evolve. But you only need four concepts to get started: bow, stern, upwind, and downwind.. If you already own them, half the theory is done.

Windsurf foil is an easy sport to learn if you are already able to windsurf, but the equipment must be handled consciously to avoid problems. Helmet and impact will give you additional safety.
Once you get into glide, the board reacts more to the rider’s weight than to the position of the sail, which is why you control the course with your feet.
Always check the condition of your equipment, especially if you haven’t used it in a while. Wash everything with fresh water before storing it. And if needed, you can find boards, sails, trapezes and even wetsuits to practice your activity with us.
